Some members of the 4th Brigade Combat Team out of Fort Carson are under investigation.
The investigation includes the commanding officer.
Fort Carson is saying little about why the soldiers are being investigated. They tell 11 News that the investigation involves allegations that "violate Army policy" but refuse to elaborate further until the investigation is completed.
The investigation does not involve the entire brigade.
The following is the full statement released by Fort Carson Thursday:
"There is an investigation underway within the 4th Brigade Combat Team. An Investigating Officer is presently reviewing allegations that violate Army Policy, and the actions of everyone involved to include the Commanding Officer. Until that investigation is complete, no further information will be released."
