A man accused of killing a fellow soldier will attend an Article 32 hearing Friday at Fort Carson.

The hearing will determine whether there is enough evidence to court-martial Sgt. Vincinte Jackson.

In January, the body of Spc. Brandy Fonteneaux was found in the barracks. Documents say Fonteneaux was choked and stabbed to death.

Jackson, a member of the 576th Engineer Company, was arrested three weeks after Fonteneaux's death. He has been held under military confinement order at the CJC.

Fort Carson says both soldiers were assigned to the 4th Engineer Battalion.

If convicted of murder, Jackson not only faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole, but Fort Carson says he will face forfeitures of all pay and allowances, as well as a dishonorable discharge.

11 News will be at the hearing Friday. Keeping checking here for updates.
