After days of being delayed, 360 Fort Carson soldiers are finally home with their families again.
The soldiers are part of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. They were originally expected to return home last Thursday morning, but the time and date were pushed back several times.
They finally arrived home Monday morning during a ceremony at the special events center on Fort Carson.
Family members told 11 News that the schedule changes were frustrating, but that the wait was all but forgotten once their loved ones were back in their arms.
The soldiers spent nine months in Kuwait where they partnered with the Kuwaiti armed forces to promote stability and safety in the region.
