A general serving at the Air Force Space Command headquarters at Peterson Air Force Base is in line for a second star.

The Air Force said Thursday that Brig. Gen. Samuel A. Greaves has been nominated for major general.

The Senate must confirm the nomination before it becomes official.

Greaves is director of plans, programs and analyses for the Space Command.

Unbelievable... a Major General with only one command under his belt -- and at the Group level no less. I guess that is what happens these days when quotas and someone who works a lot of special projects rule over real operational experience. Sigh. No wonder the Air Force is called the chair force.

Greaves commanded a Wing, served as vice commander of a major acquisition center, and has multiple launches under his belt. Next time, try fact-checking before you post drivel. If you were less ignorant, you'd appear less stupid.
