A new deputy commanding general for support has joined Fort Carson’s 4th Infantry Division. Brig. Gen. Darsie Rogers will oversee fitness, sustainment, personnel services, health services and maneuver support for the division.
“The DCG-S is my right-hand man for all matters concerning support for our soldiers,” Maj. Gen. Joseph Anderson, the commanding officer, said. “Although this may seem like an easy task, I can assure you that it is not.”
Rogers, who previously served with the 10th Special Forces Group, stationed at Fort Carson, said he looked forward to rejoining the “Mountain Post” team.
“Friends and Family at Fort Carson, it’s great to be back,” Rogers said. “It is really refreshing to look out here and see so many friendly faces and old friends. I truly look forward to making new friends in the 4th Inf. Div., Fort Carson and Colorado Springs.”
Rogers most recently served as the commander for Joint Forces Special Operations Component Command-Iraq.
