NATO is not a nation but an arm of the U.N. and has no troops of it's own. The U.S. unconstitutionally furnishes most of the personnel classified as NATO troops. Read Article One, Section 8 and you will not find any reference to using our military for anything other than in(our) national interests and defense. Instead of securing the borders of Afghanistan, our troops should be securing our border with Mexico.
