A fallen soldier was honored at the Mountain Post Friday afternoon.
Fort Carson held a memorial service for Soc. Tofiga Tautolo Friday at 1:30 p.m.
Tautolo was killed May 27 when his vehicle was attacked with an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan.
A California native, Tautolo began his military career with the Marines before joining the Army last year. The 23-year-old served four tours of duty to both Afghanistan and Iraq.
Tautolo was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team.
