Specialist Tofiga J. Tautolo, 23, was killed when his vehicle was hit by a bomb.
A Fort Carson soldier has been killed in action while serving in Afghanistan.
The Department of Defense announced the death of Spc. Tofiga J. Tautolo Tuesday. Tautolo, 23, was killed Sunday when his vehicle was attacked with an improvised explosive device.
Tautolo was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team. He was originally from Wilmington, Calif.
At this time, no further information has been released.
