There were lots of reports of explosions in Colorado Springs last night, and Fort Carson says it was conducting training.
The Mountain Post sent out a press release last week saying that the Carson's 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division started gunnery training last Monday.
That was supposed to go through Thursday. But a spokesperson confirmed that the training was still going on Saturday night.
According to a press release, the training was large caliber training and included live munitions and lots of vehicle traffic in the training area. Artillery, helicopters, Bradley fighting vehicles, tanks and live fire were also used throughout the training.
Anyone with noise complaints can called the Public Affairs Office at 719-526-5996/1256/9849.
