Disciplinary Proceedings For Dover Mortuary Whistle-Blower Reprisals

The Air Force has reviewed an investigation into reprisals taken against the whistleblowers who exposed mishandling of body parts at the Dover Air Force Base mortuary.

According to the Secretary of the Air Force, disciplinary actions have begun against those involved in the reprisals.

In addition, the Air Force will is implementing recommendations from the Defense Health Board subcommittee for handling the bodies of fallen military members.

"The Air Force will not tolerate wrongdoing, especially prohibited personnel practices, by employees," the Secretary of the Air Force wrote in a statement. "We continue to work closely with the Office of Special Counsel in addressing this issue."
