The Air Force Academy will hold back-to-back memorial and dedication ceremonies Friday to honor past and present heroes in defending America.
The first ceremony is the Academy's annual homecoming memorial ceremony to honor graduates who have died in the past year. Seventy-four AFA graduates will be recognized.
The second will be the 9/11 dedication ceremony during which a girder from the World Trade Center will be dedicated in tribute to those who died in the attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001.
