An ongoing investigation into illegal drug use by Air Force Academy cadets has resulted in punishments for several additional cadets.

In April, the Air Force Academy reported punishments were pending for seven cadets. Now, with 25 of the 31 investigations complete, 12 cadets are facing punishment. Thirteen others were cleared of the allegations.

Eight of the cadets face disenrollment and non-judicial punishment. One faces non-judicial punishment without disenrollment. Another cadet faces special court martial.

Two other cadets are awaiting command decision about punishment.

Punishment, how about dismissal. Any lesser punishment will be a discredit to those that haven't the same. The govt agencies; military, police, Secret Service, politicians etc have no honor left with the lackluster punishments those receive that discredit their organizations.
