It was another sweet homecoming for hundreds of Fort Carson soldiers Monday on the Mountain Post.
About 360 soldiers marched into the Special Events Center to the cheers and tears of family and friends anxiously awaiting their arrival.
All of the brave men and women are with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division and were returning from a 15-month tour in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
There have been several homecomings over the last few weeks. Fort Carson officials say all 3,800 soldiers will be home by the end of the week, with two more ceremonys bringing home another 500 soldiers.
Once everyone is home, Fort Carson plans to throw a huge party for all 3,800 troops in the 3BCT, 4ID.
