310 Soldiers From 3rd BCT, 4th ID Return Home


The Mountain Post welcomed home about 310 soldiers from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division Friday night following their 15-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Soldiers of the brigade have performed a myriad of missions
during their deployment. The 3rd BCT is a heavy infantry brigade with approximately 3,800 Soldiers.

More of the unit's 3,800 or so soldiers are expected home over the next few weeks.

    WELCOME HOME, DON! Belated though, it is. Thank you for your military service during the Vietnam Conflict. Two friends of mine were also there. One sadly, KIA. Take care, Vets, and enjoy life now back home.

    we are proud of each of you who have put your heart in soul into fighting this battle in iraq. we welcome you home and pray for the others safe return. I have a husband coming in next week and it makes me smile even when i see other fathers and mothers coming home. its like i feel the same feeling thier families do. Welcome home soliders we're all proud of you!
