President Bush is praising the treatment of wounded U.S. troops after visiting them at a government medical facility.
Bush called the courage of the patients inspiring, as well as the treatment they are receiving at the National Naval Medical Center in Maryland.
The president met Monday with 18 patients who were injured in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also presented six Purple Hearts.
His visit came on the 233rd birthday of the Marine Corps. November is also Wounded Care Month.
