A roadside bomb has killed three coalition soldiers in western Afghanistan. Their nationalities haven't been released, but most coalition forces are made up of Americans.

Meanwhile, in the southern Kandahar province, a bomb placed on a donkey hit a police vehicle patrolling west of the provincial capital, killing one officer and wounding two others.

Coalition forces also killed 18 Taliban militants in two seperate clashes yesterday.

In the south, an airstrike took out 15 militants, including a Taliban commander.

Three other militants were killed inside a cave in a western province during a raid by American and Afghan troops.
