Ranchers fighting the Army's proposed expansion of its Pinon Canyon training site are selling land by the square inch to raise money for their legal battle.

Square-inch plots from the historic Circle Diamond Ranch are being sold for $10 each, complete with a deed.

It's the brainchild of artist Doug Holdread, who remembers getting a square inch of land in the Klondike through a Quaker Oats offer as a child. He hopes the tiny parcels will more people a sense of involvement in fighting the proposed expansion.
