Woman Killed After SUV Rolls, Catches Fire


A woman was killed in a crash early Thursday morning. It happened near Fairplay, in Park County.

State Patrol says she lost control of her car and it rolled.

The woman wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car. She died at the scene. After her Subaru stopped rolling, it caught fire.

The victim was a 49-year-old woman from Bailey. Her name hasn't been released.

Investigators are looking into whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
