"Incredible."

That's what rescuers are saying after a woman survived a 200-foot fall off a cliff near Lake Pueblo Thursday night.

Authorities from five agencies rushed to the scene at Liberty Point after the call came in at 7:30 p.m. When they got to where the truck landed, they found the 51-year-old woman struggling to get out.

Crews extricated her from the vehicle and had her transported to St. Mary Corwin Hospital, where she is being treated for serious injuries.

Authorities say they do not know how the driver went off the cliff, but the Pueblo West fire chief tells 11 News it's not the first time it's happened--though it's been "many, many years."

"Luckily there were some people up here who maybe did see it, and that's how 911 got called right away," Chief Brad Davidson said.
