Woman Hospitalized After Crash Involving School Bus

A woman is hospitalized after hitting a school bus in Pueblo. The crash happened Tuesday morning just before 8 a.m.

Police say the 42 year-old driver ran a stop sign at the intersection of Adee and 13th street and hit the bus. The students onboard ranged in age from 8 to 11 years old. They were heading to Irving Elementary school.

Police tell 11 News, the driver suffered broken bones in the crash and she will be ticketed for running a stop sign. None of the kids were hurt.

District 60 says all of the parents of the children were notified of the wreck.
