A woman accused of trying to kill her husband with a pair of scissors went before a judge for the first time Tuesday.
Police say Jerolyn Hanenberg stabbed her husband with a pair of scissors, sending him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Now she's facing an attempted first-degree murder charge.
Hanenberg was advised of her charges Tuesday.
Hannenberg, 61, was arrested on Sunday. Police say she stabbed her husband with a pair of scissors -- once in the lower back and once in the stomach.
Police say Hannenberg made the 911 call and reportedly admitted to dispatchers she stabbed her husband
We are hoping to learn more about what led up to the stabbing and are working to obtain court papers right now
Hannenberg is still behind bars and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
