Major Roads Reopened After Winter Storm

Major roads heading east of the Springs were closed Tuesday after the third winter storm in a week pounded parts of Southern Colorado.

Highway 94 from Yoder Road to Punkin Center and Highway 24 from Woodmen to Limon were reopened Wednesday morning.

As of 7:15 a.m., these are the major closures in the state of Colorado, according to CDOT:

• SH 71 between Limon and Last Chance (mile markers 102-138)
• SH 86 between Kiowa and I-70 (mile markers 23-59)
