West Fork Fire Complex Victims Get Help From The Red Cross

The Red Cross is helping people affected by the massive West Fork Fire Complex cleanup the mess resulting from the fires.

Over the weekend, the Red Cross gave out hundreds of clean up kits to residents. The kits include items to help clean up ash, slurry, smoke and spoiled food. There are also items to help repair damages to homes as a result of the fire.

Emotional support and informational resources were also provided at the event, which was held at two locations: the South Fork Visitor Center and the Creede Mineral County Chamber of Commerce.
