Memorial Hospital's outpatient surgery department at Printer's Park Medical Plaza is closed for the rest of the week because of a water quality issue.
Memorial Hospital says about 17 employees complained of a strange odor and color in the water. They were treated for nausea and other symptoms in the emergency room.
The closure does affect patients and employees. Memorial staff members are trying to re-schedule appointments.
If you went to the center and are feeling sick you can call HealthLink at 719-444-CARE (2273) and talk to a nurse about your symptoms. You can also go to the emergency department.
