Students at Fountain International Magnet School got to go home early Wednesday because of a water main break.
About 400 students attend the school, which is near East 8th Street and North Hudson Avenue in Pueblo. They were released just after 10 a.m.
The school did not provide bus service to get the children home, so parents and emergency contacts had to show up at the school in person to pick up their children.
The school emphasized that the children were not in danger, and that the early dismissal was a precautionary measure.
