After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon, though areas in higher elevations could see 1-2". The main impact will be the cold along with winds gusting up to 40 mph at times. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
Monument police have issued an arrest warrant for Beth Chapman, the wife of reality star Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Arrest papers say Chapman verbally assaulted a 16-year-old girl earlier this month near Monument Lake.
Witnesses say she was screaming expletives at the girl and calling her names.
The whole incident was sparked when Dog was at the lake boating and reportedly began yelling at the victim's boyfriend, saying it was a felony to carry a firearm.
Witnesses also say Chapman was yelling at the girl's boyfriend for speeding too fast in his boat.
Police tell us they were only going to give Chapman a ticket for harassment, but when she didn't respond to their phone calls, they issued an arrest warrant.
We're told Chapman's attorney is now in touch with police and that she's going to cooperate.
