We have new information tonight about why a man was wanted by police and where he was hiding when they tried to find him.
Edwin Figueroa is facing several felony charges including intimidation and retaliation against a witness or victim, and menacing. He's being held in the El Paso County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
According to the arrest papers, Figueroa was wanted after his ex girlfriend went to the hospital with several injuries.
She told police Figueroa showed up at her house and repeatedly held her down while punching her in the head and arms, telling police she felt like she was going to die.
Only 11 News was there when Figueroa was arrested by Colorado Springs Police after a standoff near Fountain and Chelton.
According to the arrest papers, Figueroa was hiding in a closet with two other men. The papers say they were in a vacant home next door to Figueroa's ex-girl friend's home.
The other two men, Juan Salazar and Irving Rodriguez, were arrested and charged with unrelated felonies.
We looked into Figueroa's background and he's been in trouble with the law before.
Last year he pleaded guilty to forgery and was also charged with felony menacing, but that case was later dismissed.

A man wanted by police was arrested in a Colorado Springs neighborhood.
Police say it all started this morning when a victim showed up at the hospital with minor injuries after a domestic dispute.
Investigators tell us it was enough to get a search warrant at a home on Sorrento Drive near Fountain and Chelton on the southeast side.
They say when they showed up to the house, the suspect wasn't cooperating. The SWAT team was called in. After a few hours, they put the suspect in handcuffs.
Neighbors say they were concerned to see all the police activity in the area.
Two other suspect were also arrested. They are facing felony charges, but police haven't said for what.
