A Monument family knows just how much support they have for their missing son.
More than 100 people came out for a birthday vigil for Dylan Redwine Wednesday night. He turned 14 years old.
Dylan has been missing for more than two months now.
His family tells 11 News they are very hopeful Dylan is alive, and can't wait to celebrate his birthday with him when he eventually comes home.
"That's all we have is hope. We have to have hope for Dylan," said Elaine Redwine, Dylan's mom.
During the vigil, supporters released balloons and signed notes of support.
Dylan's mom and brother also blew out candles on a birthday cake for Dylan. They tell 11 News it was a tough day for the family.
"Thinking about all the 13 birthdays up until now and to have this one and he's not here," said Cory Redwine, Dylan's brother.
"It's important for us to get together to remember and think of Dylan," said Elaine.
Dylan was last seen near Durango, when he was visiting his dad for Thanksgiving.
Detectives in the case say they are still investigating and following up on tips regularly. If you have information that could help find Dylan, call 970-382-7511.
