Residents across the Pikes Peak region awoke to wintry temperatures and slick roadways Thursday.
It was a harsh contrast to what had been until Thursday a mild fall. 11 News Chief Meteorologist Brian Bledsoe says the cold temperatures are expected at least through Friday, with some models suggesting more winter weather could be on the way beyond that.
