More than 500 law enforcement agents have arrested 80 people in what prosecutors are calling one of the biggest drug operations in Denver's history.
Authorities say federal, state and local agents are pursuing 17 more suspects Thursday. So far, they say officers have seized 26 kilograms of cocaine, a kilo of crack cocaine, a pound of methamphetamine and more than $400,000 in cash.
Eleven weapons also have been seized.
The U.S. attorney's office held a news conference in Aurora to announce the drug sweep.
The agencies involved include a metro gang task force, the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration and immigration agents.
