Armed Robberies Possibly Connected
Sheriff's Deputies are asking for the public's help identifying two suspects involved with an armed robbery at a Walgreens Pharmacy in Falcon. They've released surveillance photos and videos from the crime.
One of the suspects was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and the other was armed with an unknown type of rifle. The pair robbed the Walgreens Pharmacy, located at 7392 McLaughlin Road in Falcon, at about 4:35 Saturday afternoon.
They got away in a small red vehicle with a variety of prescription medications. Deputies say the vehicle may have been a Toyota.
Deputies are asking the community to take a look at the surveillance photos and videos. Anyone who recognizes the suspects or knows anything about the crime is asked to call the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 719-390-5555.
This was the second Walgreens robbery of the day. The other occurred around 10:30 a.m. at 5755 Constitution in Colorado Springs. In that crime, the suspect also claimed to be armed and demanded prescription drugs. [Read more and see surveillance photos from this crime]
