Two women were trapped inside their car on Siferd, near Austin Bluffs and Academy in heavy floodwater.
Colorado Springs Fire Department was able to rescue the two from their car Friday night.
Firemen say they were on their way home when they were swept away. Their car was pushed up against a barrier, which prevented it from going into the creek.
This is a spot that sees flooding problems when there is heavy rain in Colorado Springs.
