One Teen Arrested With Gun Outside McDonald's

A teen was arrested Thursday morning and charged with possession of a handgun.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, five teens - one girl and four boys - were together in a car in a McDonald's parking lot on Barnes and Austin Bluffs at 10:30 a.m. when police stopped the group.

Two of the teens were originally detained, but one was taken into custody after a gun was found in his possession.

He has been charged with being a juvenile in possession of a handgun.

Parents of the other four teens were notified.
