D-11 confirms with KKTV 11 News that two schools are no longer on precautionary lockdown, after police activity in the area.
Jack Swigert Aerospace Academy and Roosevelt Edison Charter School were affected for approximately an hour.
We've now learned more from police about what caused the lockdowns. They say at 9:18am, 3 suspects rolled a stolen vehicle into a building. That happened at the Hill Park Apartments on Pikes Peak Avenue. But there's no structural damage to report.
After the vehicle rolled, 3 suspects fled the scene. Police caught up with two of them. One is still on the loose. He's described as a Hispanic teenager with baggy pants.
