Moderate snow continues to fall for some areas of northern El Paso and Teller Counties, accumulating in the grass and yards. Meanwhile, in the plains and along the southern I-25 stretch, light rain/snow mix continues. Take it slow on the roadways - due to VERY strong winds, we are seeing blowing dirt and snow (depending on the region), which is tremendously reducing visibility. Two men are in custody after they led police on a high speed chase Tuesday night.
Pueblo police told 11 News it started as an armed robbery at the Loaf 'N Jug on the 1100 block of Bonforte Boulevard in Pueblo.
Police said they spotted the suspect vehicle in that robbery and tried to pull it over. When the driver wouldn't stop, they chased after the vehicle. The chase ended about six miles away at Belmont Avenue and St. Claire Avenue.
Investigators said the driver had minor injuries and the vehicle involved in the chase was stolen. Both men had warrants for their arrest.
