Wednesday will offer more cloud cover and cooler temperatures. By later Wednesday afternoon, rain showers will develop across the Pikes Peak Region and slowly drift southward. Those rain showers will change to snow at higher elevations, and accumulations will be likely. At lower elevations, snow accumulation does not appear to be a big deal. A semi crashed and burned on I-25 in Pueblo Tuesday morning. The truck was carrying a load of ice cream
Investigators say the driver of the truck drifted into another lane and hit the guardrail.
The crash was near the Lake Avenue exit off I-25 in Pueblo.
The truck's diesel fuel caught on fire and the truck was destroyed.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. State Troopers say distracted driving may be to blame for this crash, and the driver may be cited.
