Saturday evening a routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a felon.
The Colorado Springs Police Department reports that officers made a traffic stop at N. Murray Blvd and San Miguel Street around 7:30 on June 8. The driver was identified as Paige Zorens.
During an investigation, police say they discovered that Zorens had four felony warrants out for her arrest. Police also say they found the women in possession of several forged checks and stolen identity cards.
Officers were then able to search one of Zorens' addresses where they found evidence linking her to several victims of identity theft, burglaries of motor vehicles and home burglaries.
Police are still investigating.
