Springs police are looking for suspects after several cars were broken into last night at the Warehouse restaurant.

The restaurant is in downtown Colorado Springs on Cimarron and Sahwatch. Police say a total of five cars were targeted and the thieves took electronics, purses, insurance cards and other valuables.

The victims noticed the damage to their cars around 10 p.m.

Sarah Tegtmeier, one of the victims, spoke with eleven news and described what she lost, “they took my insurance, my registration, my license, my debit card, my laptop, my IPod and all of my business stuff.”

Police tell us they don’t have suspect descriptions at this time.
Officers say this is a reminder to lock all valuables out of sight when leaving them in a car.
