Police say someone broke into a Kmart store and stole jewelry from the jewelry case.

The store manager reportedly arrived just before 4:00 a.m. and found the front glass doors broken.

When police arrived to investigate, they say they found the jewelry cases were also broken and items were missing.

It happened September 28 at the Kmart near Nevada and Fillmore in Colorado Springs.

A man with a sledgehammer reportedly walked into the Kmart near Palmer Park and Powers, smashed the jewelry case, stole jewelry and left.

That happened September 11.
