A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. Colorado Springs Police are investigating a shots fired call. It happened Monday night just before 10:30 p.m.
It was in the 900 block of S. 25th St.
Police say a suspect shot at the victim, and it appears to be random.
The victim told police he was standing in front of his house when the gun was fired.
The bullet missed the victim but it did enter the victim’s house.
The suspect left the scene in a blue Mustang.
No other suspect information was given.
No arrests were made.
Police are still investigating.
