Colorado's medical marijuana regulations are badly enforced and in need of a dramatic overhaul.
That's the findings Tuesday from a state audit review of the Medial Marijuana Enforcement Division.
Among the findings -- the seed to sale tracking program of marijuana plants never materialized. The program reportedly ran out of money.
Auditors also found that pot regulators approved licenses for marijuana business that should have been denied.
It's unclear what state leaders plan to do to overhaul the program.
