Students Create Art To Represent Family

Students from Irving Elementary School in Pueblo are helping to make the world a beautiful place.

Approximately 20 students created pieces of art that represent family. Ten paintings were sold to community members as a fundraiser for the Irving Elementary "Parent and Child Together" program.

The student's art will be displayed at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center December 17.

Irving teachers Sally Ashton is the sponsor for the after school art program. She say the students to participated this year are "setting the bar high."
