Fire Under Control In Springs Neighborhood

Firefighters were quickly able to get a structure fire under control Wednesday morning.

Crews had the fire knocked down in less than 30 minutes.

The fire put up a large plume of smoke, which was visible from many parts of town.

The fire was reported just after 11 a.m. on the 3900 block of Half Turn Place, near Academy and Carefree. Firefighters reported seeing visible flames upon arrival.

The extent of damage to the home is unknown, but CSFD says the family will be displaced. The Red Cross is assisting the family.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
