Rain & snow showers are expected to continue, mainly along the I-25 corridor, throughout the evening and overnight hours. Accumulations are expected, though minor areas such as Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Moisture looks to move out of the area by the morning commute, though roads may be slick/wet. Highway 50 is back open. It had been closed from 62nd Lane to Fowler Wednesday evening (Milemarker 341-351) east of Pueblo because of water on the roadway.
Rain flooded roads around Pueblo Wednesday afternoon, stranding some drivers in their cars.
Standing water on northbound I-25 closed the freeway at W. Northern, which is mile marker 97, for about an hour.
Other problem areas include Abriendo and the Purcell underpass.
If you see standing water, avoid it if possible.
