For victims of the Black Forest Fire who lost so much, more help is coming.
Crosses For Losses is opening a new store specifically for fire victims Monday. Anyone affected by the fire can go to the store and pick up any items they need for free. Essential items such as food, toiletries and clothing will be available, as well as toys for children.
The store opens its doors at 9 a.m. It will be open for the next three months, though Crosses For Losses hopes to find a way to raise enough money to keep the store open for at least a year.
The store is located at the corner of Black Forest Road and Shoup. According to a spokeswoman with the organization, the location was donated by Alisha Munson, who lost her husband on the same day that the fire broke out.
