A FLASH FLOOD WATCH will go into effect this afternoon for most of Southern Colorado. Daytime heating and moisture will combine with a disturbance moving through Colorado to develop numerous thunderstorms. Any one of them will be more than capable of producing very heavy rain. Burn scars and areas that have seen recent heavy rain will be under the greatest risk for flash flooding. This FLASH FLOOD WATCH will remain in effect through 6pm Wednesday. The 11 Breaking Weather Team will be tracking this threat closely for you the next two days.
At the moment Pueblo police were taking a report of a stolen car, the car was discovered across town.
Police say kids dumped the car in the Rush Lumber parking lot late Friday morning.
Officers were called to the parking lot after a witness noticed the kids running away from the store, leaving the car behind. They had been seen minutes before speeding through downtown in the vehicle.
Responding officers realized the red Infiniti was the same one that police on the other side of town were taking a stolen vehicle report on. The car was returned to its owner.
At this time, the kids have not been found.
