Colorado Springs Police are investigating a possible attempted child abduction.

It happened Sunday night around 9p.m. on N. Walnut St. That’s north of Uintah and west of I-25.

Police say two young boys were riding their bikes when a man driving a red SUV pulled up next to them. He rolled down his window and asked the boys if they wanted candy. Both children rode away on their bike.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, between 30 and 40 years old and bald.

Both kids have taken stranger danger classes in the past, and they say those classes helped them respond the way they did.

If you have any information about this incident or about the suspects, call police, (719) 634-STOP.
