A 60-year-old Colorado Springs man was killed in a one-vehicle crash on I-70.
It happened at 11:36 a.m. June 29.
State Patrol says a 1999 Toyota 4Runner was in the left lane of eastbound I-70 when the driver swerved into the center median to avoid pieces of tire that were in the road.
As the vehicle got back on the road, state patrol says the driver lost control, crossing the eastbound lanes and off the right shoulder. The vehicle rolled multiple times.
The driver was wearing a seat belt. He was the only person in the vehicle.
The driver's name has not been released.
