A man from Colorado Springs has died in a motorcycle crash.
It happened Sunday afternoon just before 2 on Highway 24, east of Johnson Village. Johnson Village is located at the junction of Highway 24 and Highway 285, just south of Buena Vista.
Troopers say Alan Coke's motorcycle drifted off the road. Coke, 51, and his wife Angie, 44, were reportedly thrown from the motorcycle. She was rushed to a hospital in Salida with serious injuries. Coke died at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but state troopers do not think speed or alcohol is involved.
