A man who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting children will learn Wednesday how many years he could spend behind bars.
In December, Joe Garcia Jr. pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust. He faces between 10 and 30 years behind bars.
Garcia was a soldier at Fort Carson when he committed the sexual assaults.
Springs police told 11 News that they began investigating Garcia, 30, after Homeland Security in Boston contacted them and asked for help in a child porn investigation. Garcia was being investigated by several agencies, including the Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID), as he had been stationed in many different cities and states during his military career.
We'll let you know what happens in court.
